Dr. Kiyoko Takeuchi is a 1988 graduate of UBC Dental School. She enjoys private practice because of the relationships she’s built with her patients over the last 24 years. She is humbled by the trust her patients have shown and considers it a privilege to provide dental treatment to them. She is committed to excellence and always strives to provide the highest quality of dentistry. Respect and compassion guide her to treat each of her patients as individuals with unique needs. She is happy to consult with you in your preferred language of English or Japanese.
Kiyoko chose family practice because she enjoys performing a range of treatments. In addition to the routine treatments of cavities, root canals and extractions, she has extra training in implant surgery, gum surgery, aesthetic dental treatments and botulinum injections. Please access the “Services Provided” for a complete list.
Kiyoko was born in Tokyo, Japan. Her father, having been born in Steveston, always dreamed of raising his family back on the west coast. Kiyoko was 7 when her father moved the family to Vancouver and she is grateful for his decision. She loves living in Vancouver with her husband and 2 teenaged kids.
